ISNA Board of Directors Meeting
September 30 / October 1, 2005
ISNA Headquarters

Present: Joyce Darnell, President; Dorene Albright, Vice-President; Sue Gaebler, Secretary; Cindi Moon, Treasurer; Judy Barbeau, Jennifer Embree, and Ella Harmeyer, Directors; Ernest C. Klein, Jr., CAE, Executive Director.

Absent with Notice: Teresa Holland and Barbara Kelly.

The Board met at ISNA headquarters and the staff members of the Indiana State Nurses Assistance Program (ISNAP) were introduced.

The Board designated Joyce Darnell to represent ISNA at meetings of the Mid-American Public Health Training Center.

Members will be notified that volunteers are needed for the Wal-Mart Health Fairs.

Financial statement of August 31, 2005, was reviewed as was the ISNA Strategic Plan.

Arrangements for the 2005 ISNA Meeting of the Members on October 1, 2005, at the Holiday Inn Select at the Indianapolis Airport were discussed and assignments made.

The President’s written report was reviewed as was the Executive Director’s staff report and member trends.

Present: Dorene Albright, President; Ella Harmeyer, Vice-President; Sue Gaebler, Secretary; Paula McAfee, Treasurer; Judy Barbeau, Eleanor Donnelly, and Jennifer Embree, Directors; Ernest C. Klein, Jr., CAE, Executive Director.

Absent with Notice: Teresa Holland and Barbara Kelly.

The Board met following the 2005 Meeting of the Members and designated the officers and staff members who may sign checks on the ISNA business checking account as well as those who may transfer funds between accounts.

The President was authorized to appoint a Finance Task Force to prepare a budget for consideration at the next Board meeting.

Future meeting dates:
November 18-19, 2005; Board Orientation and business meeting;
March 24,2006, Board of Directors business meeting;
June 9, 2006, Board of Directors and ANA Delegates.
