ISNA Board of Directors Meeting
September 29, 2006

Present: Dorene Albright, President; Ella Harmeyer, Vice-President; Sue Gaebler, Secretary; Paula McAfee, Treasurer; Judy Barbeau (until noon), Eleanor Donnelly, Jennifer Embree (7 pm), Teresa Holland, and Barbara Kelly, Directors; Ernest C. Klein, Jr., CAE, Executive Director.

Minutes of August 11, 2006, meeting were approved as distributed.

August 2006 Financial Statement was reviewed.

Board approved extension of the Affinity Agreement with Bank of America (BOA) formerly MBNA.

Board approved the following applications to form chapters: (1) Elkhart/Kosciusko County Chapter, (2) Wabash Valley Chapter, (3) Chapter of Psychiatric Nurses, (4) North Central Indiana
Chapter.

Board agreed for ISNA to be an organizational partner for the Center for Information & Study on Clinical Research Participation with Dorene Albright, ISNA President, as a member of the Honorary Committee.

The request from Johnson and Johnson to participate in the Steering Committee for the 2007 Gala Fundraiser was declined.

The Board discussed plans for the annual Meeting of the Members, heard reports from the President and the Executive Director.

Plans for the 2007 ISNA Legislative Conference were discussed and a report from the ISNA-Nurse Political Action Committee was received.

Strategic Plan was discussed as was plans for consultants.
