The minutes of the September 19, 2002 Board of Directors and the September 20, 2002, Meeting of the Members were approved.

Mr. Klein advised the Board that ISNA received the Indiana Society of Association Executives Star Award for the “Best Newsletter/Bulletin under $500,000 Budget.”

The October 2002 Financial Statement was reviewed.

November Member Trends were reviewed.

The Strategic Plan was reviewed and revised.

The Board approved the proposal from Ent & Imler CPA Group to continue to perform the yearly audit

The Board approved the transfer of funds to the MBNA Account.

The Budget for 2003 was approved.

The COA Policies and Procedures related to Reconsideration and Appeal were approved.

The Board approved the destruction of the 2001 Election Ballots.

The Board approved the American College of Nurse Midwives Chapter 4’s request for Affiliate Membership in ISNA.

The written report from the President and the Staff report were reviewed.

The Magnet Workshop and Meeting of the Members Financial Recaps and Evaluation were reviewed.

Reviewed changes in the House Public Health Committee appointments.

Reviewed legislative issues for the upcoming General Assembly session.

Region liaison reports were given.

Region audits for 2002 will be reviewed at the April 2003 Board meeting.

Scheduled a Region Leadership Meeting for Friday, August 8, 2003, and rescheduled the Board meeting for the afternoon of August 7, 2003.

Legislative Conference – February 12, 2003, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Downtown Indianapolis.
