2011 Dues Deductibility

The portion of your membership dues (ANA and ISNA) that is estimated to be lobbying expenses is not deductible as a business expense.That amount for 2011 is 23.15%.  Therefore, $209.80 (76.85%) may be claimed as a business expense if you itemize your 2011 Federal taxes.

ISNA/ANA MEMBERS:

• Can vote in ISNA elections

• Can serve as delegates to the ANA House of Delegates.

• Can be appointed/elected to serve to ISNA, ANA, ANCC or Academy positions

• Have access to Members Only section of the ISNA and ANA websites.

• Receive all publications from ISNA and ANA including the ISNA Bulletin, The Indiana Nurse, American Nurse and American Nurse.
