More than 100 ISNA members
took
part in the Legislative Conference on February 12, 2003. The breakfast was
held at the Indiana State House and the conference took place in the Indianapolis
Hyatt Hotel.

Members Receive Briefing
Members are briefed on key legislation that ISNA is monitoring which
could impact the nursing profession. More than 100 bills in this session
of the General Assembly are being being followed by the association.

Acree and Marian Pettingill discuss health care bills with
Representative David Orentlicher (D-Indianapolis). Orentlicher,
vice-chair of the House Public Health Committee, was one of two dozen state
representatives and senators that stopped by the ISNA PAC breakfast and
legislative conference. |
