ISNA Hosts 2006 Legislative Conference The ISNA Public Policy Legislative Seminar will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2006, on the second floor of the ISTA Center, 150 West Market Street, in downtown Indianapolis, directly across from the State House. The conference will begin at 9 am Indianapolis time and adjourn at 3:30 pm. Those who attend the conference will learn about the grass roots legislative/public policy process. The day will include a visit the State House to observe the House or Senate in action and/or one of the Committee meetings in progress. ISNA lobbyists will discuss the status of proposed legislation and attendees will receive digests of the bills that have been introduced. There will also be appearances by legislators depending upon their schedule on the day of the conference. The cost for ISNA members and ISNA affiliate members is $35, RN Non-ISNA members, $75, Retired ISNA members, $20; and nursing students with student ID, $25. Lunch is included in the registration fee.
