Learn more about the Healthy Indiana Plan
The Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) is for uninsured Hoosier adults between the ages of 19-64. Parents or caretaker relatives of children in the Hoosier Healthwise program are likely candidates for HIP.

Eligibility Requirements
Individuals must earn less than 200% of the federal poverty
level (FPL). A single adult earning less than $20,000, or families of four earning less than $40,000 likely meet the basic financial requirements.

Individuals must not have access to employer sponsored
health insurance coverage.

Individuals must be uninsured for the previous six months.

What is the Indiana Public Health and Assistance Helpline?
Did you know?. Mental Health America of Indiana, a Rx for Indiana
partner, has aligned with the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration Division of Family Resources to provide a helpline to Indiana residents to answer questions about receiving cash assistance (TANF), Food Stamps and Medicaid. The helpline has highly trained, experienced staff authorized to assist persons on public assistance with related issues.

The helpline is currently available in the following counties:
Cass County: 574-722-3984
Delaware County: 765-288-1924
Howard County: 765-459-0309
Wabash County: 866-774-3432

The program has not yet been rolled out in all counties in Indiana, but
stay tuned! For more information, call Cheryl Mc Nutt at Mental Health
America of Indiana at 1-800-555-6424.

The national prescription assistance program reaches over 4.5 million
patients in last three years

The Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA) has reached a
milestone of over 4.5 million patients helped across the country since the program began in 2005.

Rx for Indiana is the Indiana chapter of the national PPA. Over 215,000 individuals have been helped by the Rx for Indiana program, which boasts an 82 percent match success rate. Thank you for being a part of the program's success!
