Center for American Nurses Announces LEAD Summit
May 17 - 19, 2007

The first annual Educational Meeting, LEAD (Leadership, Education, Advocacy, Development) Summit in San Antonio, Texas, breaks new ground in nursing education by centering on you, the workforce, and the myriad of leadership, advocacy, and patient care challenges you face in your daily profession. The pre-conference and continuing education sessions over the three days will enhance the career development skills of all attendees (from those beginning their careers to current leaders) for the present and future workforce and workplace.

Timely plenary and poster sessions delivered by national thought leaders will focus on key topics of staffing, workflow design, personal/social factors, physical environment, and organizational/cultural factors. In addition, evidence based practice and innovative strategies and technologies to improve both the work environment of nurses and patient care delivery will be addressed. Coupled with our diverse membership, these three days will provide an enriching and stimulating networking environment.

Established as an Associate Organizational Member of ANA, the Center offers tools, services and strategies designed to make ALL nurses their own best advocates. ISNA is a charter member of the Center for American Nurses.
