Indiana nursing schools and programs
turn away qualified applicants

A study compiled by the Indiana Nursing Workforce Development Coalition shows that even though enrollment in nursing programs has increased, many students are being turned away. The main reason is lack of qualified nurse faculty. With the average age of faculty is over 55, this faculty shortage will only get worse.
