Committee On Approval Elects
New Chair
The ISNA Committee on Approval met on May 7, 2004, in Indianapolis and
elected Margaret A. (Peggy) Graul as its Chairperson, effective July 1,
2004. Peggy is Coordinator of Continuing Education for Nursing and Health
Professions for the University of Southern Indiana School of Nursing,
Evansville. Peggy replaces Sue Johnson, Parkview Health System, Fort Wayne,
who has served as COA Chair for four years.
The Committee approved Major Hospital, Shelbyville, as a new provider of
continuing education in nursing for three years. The contact person for
Major Hospital is David K. Miller, Manager of Educational Services. The
Committee also approved the following facilities to continue to provide
continuing education for nurses through June 2007: Bloomington Hospital and
Health Care Center, Bloomington; Clarian Health Partners, Indianapolis;
King's Daughters' Hospital and Health Services, Madison; Reid Hospital and
Health Care Services, Richmond; and Union Hospital, Inc., Terre Haute.
